Israel played soccer his whole life, training in multiple countries and with professional teams, seeing his passion all the way up to college. When he got to the University of Utah, he wanted to try something new and learned about the U's Boxing Club. Boxing was something he always wondered how people got into, and it was a great chance for him to give it a shot.
Joining the UofU Boxing Club was a turning point for Israel. He sparred for a few years, then competed across the country in the club his Senior year. Competing was really fun, but now that he's out of school, it's time to turn his attention to coaching and continue sparring.
"Boxing is a form of therapy." Hitting the bag and moving around is like a dance and less like a workout, and something he enjoys. He loves the people at Anatomy and is looking forward to helping people achieve their boxing and fitness goals. "The vibes are nice here!"
